Jaw Surgery & Implantology Specialist

He was born in Ankara in 1977. After Ankara Bahçelievler Deneme High School, he started the 5-year Gazi University Faculty of Dentistry in 1995 and graduated with high honors in 2000. He passed the specialization exam that opened in the same year as the first place and started his specialization training in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Diseases and Surgery at Gazi University in Ankara.

He continued his training in the Department of Anesthesiology, ENT and Plastic Surgery for 8 months in 2002 at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine Hospital and continued his education in London, England for 6 months.

He was a visiting lecturer at the University of Michigan Hospital and Mott Children Hospital in the United States in 2005. He participated in many advanced surgeries with Prof. Dr. Joseph I. Helman and Prof. Dr. L. George Upton, whom we lost in 2010.

In May 2006, he completed his doctorate and became a specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Diseases and Surgery. He completed his military service as a Reserve Officer Dentist at the Ankara Etimesgut Armored Forces School Training and Division Command between August 2006 and August 2007.

In March 2011, he participated in many advanced surgeries as a visiting jaw surgery specialist at the University Medical Center Groningen in the Netherlands (UMCG).

In May 2012, he participated in orthognathic surgery and hip (iliac) bone transplantation surgeries as a visiting jaw surgery specialist at the Aarhus University Hospital in Denmark.

In September 2012, he participated in a series of surgeries on advanced jaw surgery and hip bone transplantation with Prof. Dr. Berthold H. Hell at the Siegen Jung-Stilling Hospital in Germany.

In 2013, he participated in a series of surgeries at the Poliambulatorio Dalla Rosa Prati Hospital in Parma, Italy with Dr. He participated in many surgeries upon the invitation of Andrea Menoni. He learned a new bone augmentation surgery called BOX TECHNIQUE developed by Dr. Menoni by working with Dr. Andrea Menoni himself and brought the application to Turkey.

In 2017, he participated in many advanced surgeries with Prof. Dr. Harald Eufinger and his team at Reclinghausen Germany Klinikum West Hospital.

Since November 2007, he has been continuing his studies in the fields of Implantology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Intraoral Bone Transplant Surgeries, Advanced Bone Graft Transplants such as Hip Bone (iliac bone) and Aesthetic Dentistry at his clinic in Istanbul Ataşehir.

He has given numerous conferences in Turkey and abroad.

He gave 15 days of surgical training to a team of 6 doctors who came from Russia to receive training, and then, upon their insistence, he went to Moscow, Russia and trained many Russian doctors there.

He continues to give conferences as a speaker.

He is a member of the Turkish Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Association, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Association, Turkish Oral Implantology Association, Osseointegration Association and Aesthetic Dentistry Academy Association.

Dr. Tolga Gülçiçek, who is married and has three daughters, does enduro-adventure riding on his motorcycle in his spare time, travels around Turkey and the world, and occasionally does long-term swimming training.
